Breaking News:
NYPD traffic agents have been writing parking tickets on streets that are/were legal to park. Apparently, on the East Side of West End Ave in the 60s & 70s, the City has changed the signs from alternate side of the street parking regulations to "No standing 4pm-7pm (M-F)". The problem is, they made this change in the last couple of days while people were legally parked at an alternate side regulation which said: "No parking 8am-9:30am (Tu & F)". So the question is: Can the City change a parking sign while someone is legally parked and then give them a parking ticket?
If this happens to you, you can fight this ticket and it should be dismissed.
We have a new 1-on-1 phone consultation service where we advise you how to fight a ticket like this, what kind of evidence you need, how to present it, etc. Check it out at: http://www.wheretofindparking.com/view/consultation.aspx |
